Hello,
This is in reguard to the pressure tank from the pump for my well.
Is the pressure tank supposed to stay at one constant pressure or should it go up and down each time the pump kicks on?
I installed a new NON-submersible pump and since after i did my water pressure is all screwed up.
The pump kicks on and i have water pressure and then it gradually goes down to where i have absolutley no water for appox. 3-5 mins, and right before the pump kicks on i can hear air sucking through the lines and then it kicks on and i have water, this is an ongoing process.
I have checked the pressure in the tank and it will say about 30 lbs but once the pump kicks off it'll read about between 40-50 lbs.
HELP ME!!! it is driving me crazy, espically when you are standing in the shower soaking wet needing to rinse and you run out of water. uuuggghhh.
Could the pressure tank's bladder have a hole in it? and it just seems like the pump is not kicking on soon enough.
Thank you so much for your help.

Kenneth Cordray | sounds like the switch in your tank to operate the pump isnt set correctly to bring the pump on before the water level reaches to low or it is sticking |
