I have a 3 phase catering cooker and need to use it in a shop with just a normal 240v supply.
Can anyone let me know if there is any way use this cooker by maybe converting the voltages or what and what kind of costs would be involved.
Also can someone explain what voltages there are on a 3 phase outlet.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you read the thread started by vtothemax you will see basically same scenario.

In your case I would suggest the only real solution is contact local electricity supplier to arrange 3 phase supply. In his case he is in USA and I am not sure if 3 phase supply is available whereas you are in UK and I know 3 phase supply is available for the asking. (And perhaps paying.)

3 Phase supply measures 450 volts between phases and normal 240 between any one phase and neutral (or earth)
