I am installin a bathroom in basement below the septic tank level. Bathroom is plumbed already and has a sewage pit for an ejector pump.
What kind of sewage pump will work??
How many horse power? (only has to go about 5 feet to hit line to septic tank)
Does it have to be a enclosed pump unit (lke a Liberty Pre-assembled Sewage Systems)
or will the one at home depot work if I place it in the bottom of the pit ?? |

Buy a Macerator specially made for the purpose.
Do not however put anything in the Toilet that is likely to jam it up as it can get very messy having to unblock the things.
