I am wondering about a garbage disposal. When you're running water and it's grinding 'stuff', do the spinning blades and forces going on inside the unit create a pressurized discharge or does it still rely on gravity.
In other words; could I put a garbage disposal in the sink and 'pump' the waste about 20 foot or so with an incline of a couple of feet? I want to use one kinda like a macerator pump.
Thanks for any help |

Waste disposal units don't pump or at least the ones this side of the pond don't.
Why not fit a waste disposal unit and run it into a macerator which will.

| That could get expensive since a macerator cost about 150 or so just by itself. I was hoping the disposal would pump the same as a macerator. |
