Well, here is the situation, I remodeled the kitchen recently and in the process had to move the sink over about 3 feet. Normaly this would not be a problem, however, in doing so the order of the drains from the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink to the stack was reversed. In other words: originaly the bathroom sink drain went into the wall, turned 90 degrees went about 8 inches joined with the kitchen sink drain and then into the stack. Now with the remodel complete, the kitchen sink drain goes into the wall turns 90 degrees goes about 1 foot joins with the bathroom sink drain and then to the stack. The problem I am having is when I run the disposal in the kithcen sink the water is forced through drain and up into the sink in the bathroom! Not too good when you are trying to brush your teeth! My thoughts are to add a vent between the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink, am I on the right track???
