Pressure tank????

Beginning about 1 week or so ago, water pressure would alternate between good water pressure and low water pressure (every second or so it would switch during the whole time the water was on). Now we have no water. The tank is very heavy, like it is full of water. I need to know if it is easy to replace, or if it sounds like it needs to be replaced.
