I am looking at some study Q's b4 my 17th Ed test and cant find the following in the regs.
Q. Where agenerating set is used as an additional source of supply in parallel with other sources, protection shall remain effective in all situations against overcurrent and??????
Any one suggest??
Ihave 4 poss answers but cant find the reg.

Could it be 'Isolation' or 'Interlock'
ie a means of preventing both power sources being connected to the system at the same time.
Vince will probably be able to quote the actual regs. |

a. Harmonic Distortion
b. High Protective Conductor Currents
c. Unbalance
d. Thermal Effects
I have been told it ay be d. but be good to see it in black and white. I know its an odd situation but its ion the mock test i have.
