My next door neighbour has had a conservatory built over a drain about 3 weeks ago since then I have had a problem with water bubbling up through my pipes my drain has now blocked at the back door and sewage is spilling out all round the drain.
The direction the drain runs is under where the conservatory has been built and it is most likely that is where the pipe has been damaged.
How do I solve my problem of it being repaired and who is responsible for the payment of these repairs |

Is it a shared drained.
If it is you need to talk to the neighbour and maybe get his builder back.
Cost if you can prove what has caused the problem could be passed on or shared. |

Thanks for your advice I have since spoken to the neighbour and it seems the builders have moved the drain about a foot along so hopefully they will take responsibility for the problem |

| Your neighbour should be covered by insurance for any new extensions |
