i want to fit rad thermostats there are six rads on the system do i have to leave one rad without a stat fitted if so does it matter which is left

Always best to leave one without, usually the radiator in the room with the room stat.

Room without stat is the room that has the roomstat.

I prefer this to be the living room as that is the room one normally wants maximum comfort.
