I`ve recently moved my PS3 and surround system to a different area of the room - so i`m using a different power socket. Ever since doing this - i`ve noticed that if either the kitchen light swith is used or the Fridge motor kicks in it`s enough to cause some kind of surge. If thesurround system is on - and either the fridge or light switch is used - the sound stops for about a second and then comes back on. Is it a case that i need a surge protector - if so where shold i put on the fridge or should i put it on the points where the surround system etc is attached. Or is it a case of the circuits checked etc.
I look forward to hearing from someone - many thanks

I would be checking all terminals behind sockets for tightness, and plugs if they are not moulded.
