| Hi all i went to see a w/c the other day at a friends house and when you flush it the cistern fill and drains perfectly but there is a problem. when the water goes in to the pan the water keeps getting pulled into the drain resulting in the water level being low in the w/c pan. this is followed by a vibrating loud noise and air bubbles. Can anyone shed some light on this. |

| The drains are definatly not blocked beause it drains correctly. I had a quick look at the airvent and it seemd to look pretty clear, no debri or nest on it. I will have a further look by going up a ladder. whats the best way to clear any dirt from there if any? |

I still fancy a blocked drain, have you checked the inspection chamber.
the vent if blocked can be rodded from the top |
