HI all, I have brown water throughout the house. It just started this morning.

I have run all faucets, washer, etc and the water is still brown, both hot and cold. I have been out of town during the week a lot, I turned the water heater to medium a while back. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a problem with the line into the property.

Is it a city line, get them to check it, or a well, could have a problem with sand at the foot

Do you have a hot water tank which has a central heating coil, if so it may be leaking resulting in radiator water coming out of taps.
Have you tried using your kitchen cold tap this normally tends to be directly fed from the mains. if this is dirty water then it is an issue you need to speak to the utilities company about
