Morning,

Just finished putting in a new bathroom, no idea what parts are called but im looking for the following.

The cold water pipe that comes out of the floor to fill up the toilet cistern.

peice of copper pipe, stop cock, another peice of pipe that screws on to the plastic thread on the cistern. The bolt that screws onto the cistern no longer reaches the thread (well, it does, but not just)

Is there such thing as a flexible hose for doing the same job? If so, whats it called and would you recommend one? [/img]

I cant get a pic not at home.

The cold water pipe comes out of the floor, it has a fitting on it, with a stop cock, then a peice of copper pipe joins from the stop cock to the bottom of the cistern. Long tube with the ball cock on it, plastic thread comes out at the bottom, thus allowing the cold water in. That pipe that feeds cold water into the cistern no longer reaches the thread.

Why does a post like this brighten up your day?

It gets the brain cell working. Laughing

Possibly the easiest way would be with an "Speedfit" FLX 43 or 15 flexible hose.

An Speedfit PSE 3201 W connector with a short length of plastic pipe and 2No inserts would be another way to tackle the job.

If you have just finished putting in a bathroom, then you will already know what you need and what it is called!
