| Hi. I tried to run a bath today and found the water flow was reduced to a trickle from the hot tap. The cold is fine. All other taps in the house are fine although the flow seems slightly lower from the cold water tap downstairs. This only ever happens every couple of months. The hot flow to the bathroom sink is fine. The bath taps are mixer type and have an integrated shower hose. Can anyone suggest why this is happening every so often only? What is cause and solution? Thank you for your help. |

Dismantle the tap as it is probably not opening properly.
Cure could be as simple as changing the washer. |

| How strange. I've just tried the tap again and it is working fine again. We dismantled and changed washer when it last happened a few months ago which made no difference and the tap started working again of it's own accord like it has just done again. What could be causing this? Could it have anything to do with the radiators coming on and using most of the hot water? |
