My first post!
Many thanks to the generous members that have already made donations to my Race for Life sponsorship page, I appreciate it.
The total has now reached £385 including promised donations upon completion and I'm thrilled by the response as this is my first attempt at raising money for a charity.
Although it is a "race" I'll be walking the 5km route as I have bits of metal holding my ankle together after a nasty break and hope to power walk it in 45 minutes.
Please keep donating through John, thescruff's link as my target is £500. |

The Race is tomorrow, time has flown, so if anyone would like me to add a loved one's name to my back card I still have room and will be honoured to do so.
The total up to date is £420. My target is £500, there's still time to donate.

Thank You to John thescruff mostly for his generosity and the ATQ members who sponsored me for the event.
I made £525 online and when I have collected my donations I should get over £600, not bad for a first attempt.
I'm in training for the Breast Cancer Care Charity 20 mile Ribbon Walk across the Peak District next year, walking the dog 7 miles a day.

A quick update. The final total was £705 online and off. Cancer Research UK sends a big "Thank You" to all who donated.
The biggest thanks goes to John for his generous support! |
