Stupid question, is the space between the hot and cold pipes on a bath a standard size? I want to replace the mixer taps on my bath and the majority of web sites I've seen don't mention the distance between the two. The ones that do vary in size. If I have to get the same size where is the measurement taken from? The middle of the pipes? That would make mine about 185mm which seems a strange size.

Thanks
