I have just purchased a new house and discovered that the mains cold water inlet pipe is in an unbelievable location.
As usual it is under the kitchen sink with a stop cock however it is not against the back wall of the unit but at the front of it. The cupboard is totally unusable
My question is
Apart from someone being lazy is there any rules or conventions about the placing /location of the inlet , should it be secured against the back wall.
I would like some ammunition before i could and confront the builder of this so called luxury house
thanks in advance
