|
|
We recently had fitted a ladder radiator in our bathroom which has a Schlosser thermostatic valve. In order to get the room above 20deg C we have to set the valve to 6 which is the maximum. Even then if shuts off at 22degC. All our other radiators have thermostatic valves and only need to be set at 2-3 out of five for adequate temperatures to be reached.
Is this a problem with the valve or can it be adjusted in some way? |

Ladder type towel rails are not intended to heat rooms, and the heat output will be poor at best.
Normally I wouldn't expect to see an thermostatic valve on a bathroom rad either.
What circuit is it connected too, the heating or pimary pipes |

As I said I don't think the rail will give enough heat output.
Have you any technical stuff on the valve other then they're made in Poland |

We have no details for the rad or valve other than the name on the valve.
I found the Schlosser website and emailed the the same query but have had no reply yet after 3 days. |
