I had to repair the galvanized pipe from the hot outlet of a water heater. I used a PTFE white pipe joint compound to do so. I cannot find what type of cure time would be required. I live in MN, and the current temp is around +46deg. Any help would be great. I thank you

We would use an tape to seal the joint, and not just the paste.

Have you got a name/make for the product.
