| Just moved into old house. Lino down in kitchen so for temporary measure until new kitchen installed (god knows when!) I am going to lay laminate floor. Thing is I am not going to move floor cupboards at all so is it ok to lay the flooring up to the wood surrounds or do I need to remove these and go right up to the walls (which will be a bit of a pain). I am worried about movement. Also in what direction is it best to lay the boards? It is a galley type kitchen that is about 2m wide by 5m long. Should I run them across the width or lengthways? |

Lengthways or it will look 4 **s.
You can go up to the units or tuck them under the plinth, the other edge can be covered by the skirting |
