I have fitted a peglar Thermostatic mixing valve so the bath water does not scald the children. I have put in a bigger bath and have increased the cylinder temp so I have enough water to fill bath. Current TMV allows 7 litres per minute and bath is 180 litres. Can you suggest a better TMV or can I use a pump?

Any other suggestions? I can afford a more expensive TMV but don't want to buy one and it be not much better, as there are so many on the market.

Is it an 22mm mixer.

Another idea for bath water, where you don't need a cold is to connect both taps from the mixer so both taps are hot, you probably won't get twice as much but you certainly should get more.

You could if you wanted fit an separate cold tap

It is a 22mm. It is connected to the hot bath tap. The cold tap still has cold water.

Where does the water supplies come from.

Your flow rate is very low to what the valve can produce 20 Ltr/min at 1bar, are the tap connections restricting the flow.

As I said you could add a third tap either for the hot or cold

Hot water is from cylinder and cold is from normal supply. TMV is at other end of bath from taps and in cupboard below sink for easy access and changing of temp if needed (so we didn't need to take side off bath).

So without a modification I don't think you are going to improve it
