Hello again.

At home Ive noticed I'm having to bleed (and get a healthy amount of air out each time from 2 raditaors at the top of the house) about every 2 -3 weeks!!.
This frequency is way more than that of our old house which was more like once every 6 months from memory

To me this suggests there is somewhere that air is getting into the system, but I have no signs of leaks anywhere.

Any thoughts ofr ideas what I could do to try to track any air entry point down?

Peter

Bad design probably, how old it is.

Hold a glass of water under the vent pipe and turn the heating on and off a few times to see what happens.

Its about 10 years old.

The place you suggest putting a glass of water. Is that the nozzle on the bottom corner of the rad. I was thinking maybe it was worn bleed taps on the rad top. Are they purchasable and swappable

No the vent pipe that goes over the header tank, you are testing to see if the water is sucked out, therefor drawing in air
