|

Hi
I am having a problem with the hot water pressure from the shower. If you turn the hot water tap on, the water pressure is ok and hot water is not a problem. As soon as the cold tap is turned on even a fraction, the water soon turns cold. After turning the taps off and just turning the hot tap on again the water has slowed to a trickle.
I have read a few of the other posts on this forum and assumed it was an airlock. I tried the washing machine solution (connecting cold water to hot water) and attemped to block the tap when the hot water was on. Neither was successful.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Not sure, it is a combi boiler setup. Cold is mains fed.
The difference between cold and hot water pressure is fine on all other taps in the flat. |

How can you get an air lock then they're reserved for gravity systems.
Fit a check valve on the hot and cold pipe to the shower valve |
