| I am trying to fit new cylinder is it acceptable to fit 22mm flexable connectors to the heating ports, space is very limited. |

oh tony.... are you trying to use a braided steel flexi connector to pipe your cylinder? shame on thee.
these are designed for bath and basin taps so i give you a thumbs down.
in the tightest cylinder cupboards you cant get any closer than 22 female iron to coppers and 22mm street elbows... have you got a blowlamp?
dont do tone! i cant bear another bodge, friend.... |

I beg to differ Straker,
22mm cylinder unions and a 22mm street elbow will save you another 10mm of space! |

And a Conex 403 bent female iron to copper will be even closer than that. |

i'd never use bent female irons to copper on cylinder coils! if it leaks on the screwed part, you dont get a 2nd chance to tighten it up!
at least with straights you can nip it up a touch in the HIGHLY unlikely event of me getting a "joint failure" |
