I have a ceramic tiled floor above concrete, in my kitchen. Floor area is circa 20 sq m. I would like to lay new Porcelain tiles directly above the ceramic tiles, since the old ceramic floor surface is remarkably level and free of any lifting edges or corners. Can I lay the tiles using a special adhesive such as a PVA or must the tiles be bedded into sand and cement grout? If there is a special PVA type adhesive, what would you recommend.? In advance, thanks for any response.
