Hi all, my electric oven stop working after two years so i bought a new one today from currys. Wired it up but it doesn't work. Thinking i may have thrown my other cooker away for no reason. what else could it be, could the switch on the wall have failed, it was fitted by an electrician, thanks.

It could be the switch, it could be the breaker or fuse or even the cable.
Is there a supply to the cooker outlet?

Hi there , can you send a pic of the wiring on the oven , and post them here???


Mite give us all a idea how you done things, purhaps the oven is protected by HRC fuses , in which you can't tell without some sort of test equipment!!!
