| How do I go in the jack and change the current line connected tot he computer to another line, which should be live and ready to switch??? |

If you can find the two seperate lines where they enter the home, it is a simple switch.
Trace the wire fom the jack you want the computer on back to the phone panel or some type of a junction box.
You will then need to simply splice it into the secondary line by matching the colored wires from the jack to the secondary phone line. Twist them together and put a small wire nut on the connection or reattach the phone jack wire the right junction box or panel connection.
The key is to figure out where the two lines come into your house. |
