I am a general contractor but don't fool with electric unless I have to my question is as follows one of my bathrooms in my house has a switch plat on the wall as you walk in one for the light one for the fan power comes in to the switch from the box. Is it possible to take the switch out and put a plug switch combined I have seen it done but would like to know if this is possible in this situation.

thanks
steve

It is possible, but likely not legal. Outlets in a bathroom must be GFI protected, and that combination does not exist, that I know of.
