We have recently purchased a 2nd hand Grand Voyager. When we test drove it the airbag light stayed on, so we spoke to the garage & they said not a problem they knew what it was & would sort it before we collected it.
Now we have discovered the horn doesn't work & neither does the cruise control, we then noticed the airbag light doesn't actually come on at all now. Having done some research I believe the Airbag Clock Spring needs replacing, the part costs about £90 - Can anyone advise if this is a difficult job? I'm just trying to get an idea of labour time so I have an idea of what it should cost to have the repair done.
It's out of waranty now & I'd rather take it to my local garage where I know the job will be done properly.
Also, any ideas what they would have done to stop the airbag light coming on when the engine is started, disconnected something?
Thanks in advance |
