I have a small wall-mounted fan heater in my bathroom that I would like to remove. Is this something I'm allowed to do myself or do I need to get a professional in?
It has a switch on the wall next to it with a fuse panel. Can I plaster over the hole that this switch will leave, or does this have implications for future owners if they drilled through that spot?
If I do have to get someone in to do it, what's a ballpark figure that I can expect to pay?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Louise

It can be removed but you will need to kill/isolate the supply to the fused spur before you plaster it over.

Thanks Vince. If you see the sparks from there you'll know I didn't manage it!
The site is great by the way, that was my first post but the FAQs are very helpful.
Cheers, Louise
