Hi, I moved into this house last year (summer time) and the hallway is extremely cold compared to the rest of the house.
Obviously, more noticable this time of year than summer.
There is an 'extension' porch which is probably no more than 5 - 8 years old. The porch has a uPVC door and a uPVC window either side of the porch.
There is a small, single radiator on the wall backing to the living room.
The hallway is about 12ft long from the front door to the downstairs bathroom door, and about 4ft wide with an open staircase.

Why would this hallway be so cold? I mean freezing cold?

We have a toddler baby and we have to run out of the bathroom up the stairs to dress her before she catches cold.
The rest of the house is basking in 30 degree heat!!!!

Could it be something to do with the build of this extension porch (ie cavity wall insulation? or faulty seal on the front door, for example)?
I'm at a loss, because visibly I can see no faults but standing in the hallway, is like standing outside.

Thanks,

Mike
