| as I'll be moving soon & have a spare freezer my question is can I put it in the garage? will it work alright out there? I remember reading somewhere about this a while ago but can't remember where. your answers would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

| You need to get a electrician to add you a circuit for the freezer. Most garages has GFCI protection on the receptacles. If the GFCI receptacle would trip off you would lose the food in your freezer. Plus the freezer needs to be on its own breaker. |

There is no problem putting the freezer in the garage as long as it is dry.
