could anyone please tell me what 1st and 2nd fixings are please, whats the difference?

1St fix is when we wire the house and fit all back boxes.
2nd fix is when we connect all the accessorys,sockets and switches etc.
Then we do finals which is normally the fans and smoke alarms.
