|
|
Have jsut ripped out all the existing chipboard sheets that were the floor in our bedroom in the loft conversion, in such poor condition i dont want to put them back.
Whats the best modern solution?
Can use 2400*600*18 T&G chipboard sheets, or could i use loft panels, smaller but in pack of 3 so cost per sq.m very similar.
Is one superior to the other for the task i have?
Or suggest something else?
Thanks, Jamie. |

| T@G chipboard is what I would use but glue the joints. |

Thanks, loft panels are T&G chipboard to, same thickness but smaller sheets.
Would you go for the bigger ones then? |

The bigger the sheet the less the work
Provided you can get them into the room without hassel yep I would go for the bigger sheets.
Depending on the size of the joists I would screw against nails, as it will do less damage to the ceiling below. |
