I am replacing an existing wall light and have two 3 core cables. How should these be paired, as the two blacks together and the two reds together repeatedly cause a trip??
Thanks for your help in anticipation ?? Peter

Try the 2 reds together in a block and the 2 blacks to each side of your light fitting. dont connect the reds to the light.
