I would like to fit a burglar alarm on my property abroad, Ideally I would like something thats easy to fit and ideally work off battery (I switch the mains off over winter) or maybe just a plug in to the mains type and then I could leave the appropriate circuit on and switch the rest off at the main switchboard as opposed to just flicking the main switch.
I dont want anything too expensive but something that would cover say 2 doors and a couple of windows.
It would also have to be easy (ish) to install.
Anyone got any ideas or guidelines on whats available.
thanks

Best off going to B+Q and getting a Yale or Reponce wire free kit. Easy to install diy.
