We are planning an extension to our house and want to use a computer program to play with layouts to work out various options. Can anyone recommend a cheapish (say no more than £50.00) package that is simple to use (not Autocad which i have tried and found incredibly powerful but complicated!),reliable and produces good results including 3D images?

Thanks David

Thanks for getting back to me and letting me know that. Does anyone have any experience of Arcon?

Floorplan 11

I haven't tried this software so I can't give an opinion on it but it offers a trial download. I can vouch for the reputation of the company though (I work for it!)

(I haven't tried Arcon either, sorry)
