Whats the best way of smoothing out an uneven celling. I dont have a lot of money but i have some cracked celling up stairs in my house what solutions can i use to deal with this without having to break the bank.

I would overboard the ceiling and re skim with board finish plaster.

Reminds me of me pappa's first attempt at papering a ceiling Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing in the early 50s

First the old was 5 foot nothing and us kiddies were 5'6" plus.

Anyways, cut paper to length of room and paste it up Laughing next we all hold the paper over our heads at arms length while the old man hops up and down on a chair trying to get it to stay on the ceiling Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I really cannot remember how it turned out, but we had so much fun Twisted Evil Twisted Evil and I think it was the only time I ever remember him loosing his rag Laughing
