I have a golden retriever (5 years old) and he has never, how shall I put this, mated.
I wanted to advertise him for stud. Where is the best place to do this and how do I go about it?

Initially, I don't want anything for the first time, just some experience for him, but the second time I would like, say, pick of the litter as payment.

Does that sound unreasonable?

He is fully vaccinated, full pedigree with award winning relatives.

Thanks!

A good pedigree is worth a lot of money with the right bitch, look on the shelf at your local paper shop, for doggie and country mags

Then negotiate, you should find similar dogs for stud with a price.
