| I recently replaced all my interior doors with moulded hollow doors no problem. However, I have replaced my livingroom door with a solid wood glazed panel door. I put the new latch on and the new door knobs and everything works perfectly until I screw the handle plates to the door then it becomes virtually impossible to turn the handles and the latch sticks inside the door. I unscrew the handle plates and the latch works fine again? What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated. |

I take it you mean the spindle? Don't think its that cos even with one handle off the other one is still as bad! Maybe it will remain a mystery? |

With one handle fitted can you 'wiggle' (technical term!) the spindle the other side?
If not then you have probably not mounted the handles accuratly enough or maybe the screws are a tad too long. |
