i have 2 cats. mother and daughter7 & 6 years old. we have always had a litter tray but i want to get rid. the mother is really lazy and sleeps all day hardly ever goes out and follows me around where ever i go. the daughter will cry at the door when she needs the loo and goes out for a few hours a day. when i took the litter tray away i had to physically pick the mother up or chase her to get her outside with lots of hissing and spitting!. sometimes though when i get up in the morning she has emptied her bowels and bladder in my bath. They are both overweight cats and always want food , hardly exercise and when they both go outside for the toilet they do it in there own yard. how can i get my cat not to use the bath as a toilet. do you think she is depressed band thats why she dont go out ? they have been wormed and dont seem to have any other problems.
