hi is there a way of retaining a mound of earth and still be able to plant in it. I have a garden pond with waterfall whitch is close to a garage wall but earth fallls away and i dont want to pile it up the garage.
any help would be good.

Try building a 'wall' with railway sleepers - they last for ever!!! Depending on height of your mound, dig them in 'end-ways' or for a low wall just lie them on their sides, and drill a retaining bar through them to keep them in place!!
