i have a bit of damp on the inside of my bedroom wall i've been told you can get special paint which cures this,is this correct and is it any good?thanks in advance for your help.

The paint will work short term but you should find where the damp is coming from, could be a leaking gutter or mortar sitting on a wall tie.
