Hi, I'm having a conservatory built and the dwarf wall is being built but there isn't a damp proof course. They have built one brick over the house dampproof level so far and there is a roll of it on our garden? Is it ok for the conseravtory damp proof to be one brick over the house damp proof course? I would have said not. Please help before I approach my builder!
Thanks

Depends on the outside ground level, the damp will be above that.

The connection to the house is uninportant as the house wall will no longer be an external wall.

The dpc roll has to be put in place on top of the brick course that is level with the floor.
