| hi can anyone help got a computer hard drive that is partitioned at 50 gig hard drive is 200 gig is there anyway i can extend this 50 gig partiton. im running windows xp. |

Firstly what is on the other 150?
Presumably the partition forms a virtual drive with its own drive reference. As I understand it if that is the case when the partition is set up it formats that portion of the drive and then creates a Master Boot Record (MBR) so is probably not possible within windows.
There are third party programs 'Partition Magic' by Symantic that claims to be able to resize or move partitions. Another program that claims to be able to is 'Disc Director' from http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector |

Surely there is another drive letter for you to use the other 150G.
