Have question hope u have answer
why does water travel up the bath overflow
and dribble into the bath ? nothing in u bend
live in block of flats if that helps tia

Is the plug in? If not then that would defy the laws of physics... What floor are you?

Is the overflow connected to another waste system?

There's a fiiting which replaces the bath overflow with a combination one, your WC ballvalve is in need of attention.

plug not usually in ,but i did last night
and collected one inch of water by the morning
i live on the gound floor
