Problem with kitchen water supply: main cold tap has just started to deliver cloudy water (which clears in a glass without residue after a couple of minutes). Hot tap and other cold taps in the house unaffected - clear water as usual. Also, affected cold tap gives clear water when turned on full power, but cloudy water returns when power is dropped. The tap is a Barber Wilson ceramic disc kitchen unit. What is happening?

Sounds like cavitation or air getting into the water as its delivered dunno why though, some taps have airation devices fitted intrinsically but if as you say its just started & you havent changed your taps its a bit of a mystery Very Happy
