We are closing on a home with winterized plumbing. It is on a well with pressure tank. (submersible pump; not sure if hot water tank was emptied or not.) Would like to know steps to restore the water supply, or should I call a plumber to do this??

I would expect the plumbing to be unwinterized by the seller before closing the deal.
How do you no it works?
I have been to many properties that have been winterized because they leak or have major problems like the pumps seized up, the drains need attention, could cost thousands of bucks.

| Thanks for the advice. This is a Fanny May repossesion sale and is "as is where is" so there is no seller option to repair. Thanks anyway. |
