Wink

We are closing on a home with winterized plumbing. It is on a well with pressure tank. (submersible pump; not sure if hot water tank was emptied or not.) Would like to know steps to restore the water supply, or should I call a plumber to do this??

Thanks in advance,

I would expect the plumbing to be unwinterized by the seller before closing the deal.

How do you no it works?

I have been to many properties that have been winterized because they leak or have major problems like the pumps seized up, the drains need attention, could cost thousands of bucks.

Thanks for the advice. This is a Fanny May repossesion sale and is "as is where is" so there is no seller option to repair. Thanks anyway.

In that case I would get the plumber to give it the once over.
