Hi,
I don't do much brickwork but I have a garage to repoint - fairly soft & crumbling mortar. I'm thinking of using an abrasive tool with a grinder - are these straightforward to use or am I likely to end up reshaping half the bricks ?
Amy alternatives would be welcome.
Thanks |

The problem with your idea is the blades are thin, a 4" angle grinder would be better that the bigger tools.
I thought there was a special electric tool for this, would pay to ask at your local hire center. |

Thanks for the reply - sorry I didn't explain clearly enough. I meant one of these grit-coated spindles that fit onto a grinder. Are these easy enough to control, or do you need some kind of guide plate to use them effectively ?
Thanks
