my garage is wired for 220. it has a fuse box in it with two 60 amp circuit breakers going out to it from the house. i would like to put a cnc lathe machine in the garage. here is the electrical info i got off the machine: (460 volts, 3 phase, 60 hz, main motor full load amps a.c. 45, machine f.l.a. ac 67, control volts 115 vac, short circuit amps 14000, over current amps 100). i would be very grateful if you could tell me how to do this. i've been told i can do it with a rotary phase converter. is it posible for me to do this? if you need more info let me know. im trying to start a small buisness in this garage and would appreciate your help. thank you very much

I would suggest that first you contact the supply company and try to get a three phase supply laid on suitable for machines you intend using.

A rotary converter is basically a motor and generator combined and would have to be quite large for the currents you intend using. They 'use' electricity (power into device more than power out) and by their nature generate noise.
